Brian was born and raised in Blair County, graduating from Central High School in 1988. He thereafter attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania where he graduated cum laude with a B.A Degree in Political Science.  In 1995, he earned his Juris Doctorate Degree from Regent University School of Law, a private Christian Law school located in Virginia Beach, VA. He was admitted into the practice of law by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court in 1996.

He began his legal career in the Blair County Public Defender’s office where he litigated hundreds of criminal cases ranging from the most serious felonies to minor traffic offenses.   In 1999, he accepted a position as an associate attorney with the Altoona law firm of Sullivan, Forr, Stokan and Huff which expanded his practice areas to include business litigation and formation, estates, civil litigation and family law. In 2002, Brian was admitted by the Oklahoma Supreme Court into practice and began employment with the Tulsa, Oklahoma law firm of LaCourse & Davis.

In 2005, he returned to Blair County with a vision to create a law firm that would zealously represent its clients with integrity. For over 18 years, Brian has striven to provide his clients with excellent legal representation and has used his extensive legal experience in the areas of Custody, Divorce, Civil and Business Litigation, personal injury and Criminal Defense to assist his clients in resolving their legal issues.

Brian is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Blair County Bar Association. He served as President of the Blair County Bar Association from 2021-2023 and currently serves as the liaison for the Blair County Domestic Bench-Bar. He formerly volunteered as an attorney advisor to the Central High and Hollidaysburg Mock Trial Court teams and as the Head Coach of various little league teams in Altoona and Hollidaysburg. Brian is married to Karen L. Grabill with whom he began the law firm of Grabill and Grabill, PLLC. Brian and Karen have three boys.
